Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Overview

This policy explains how cancellations and rescheduling work for DMV Detailz services. Because our detailing services are scheduled in advance and performed on-site, timely notice helps us manage availability and serve all customers fairly. Our goal is to be flexible whenever possible while respecting scheduled time and labor.

This policy applies to both one-time appointments and monthly subscription services.

Cancellation Notice

Customers must cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations made with proper notice may be rescheduled without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to forfeiture of the scheduled service.

Rescheduling Appointments

Appointments may be rescheduled with advance notice and are subject to availability. Subscription customers receive priority scheduling; however, same-day or next-day availability is not guaranteed.

If an appointment is rescheduled late or repeatedly, the service for that billing cycle may be forfeited.

No-Shows & Late Cancellations

A no-show occurs when a customer is not available at the scheduled appointment time or fails to provide access to the vehicle.

  • One-time services: missed appointments may result in loss of the service or a cancellation fee.

  • Subscription services: missed or no-show appointments may count as the service for that month and will not roll over.

Repeated no-shows may result in suspension or cancellation of service.

Weather & Unsafe Conditions

Because DMV Detailz provides mobile detailing services, appointments may be rescheduled due to weather or unsafe working conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, extreme temperatures, or unsafe environments.

When weather-related rescheduling is necessary, we will work with the customer to reschedule within the same billing cycle when possible.

Vehicle Access Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled appointment time. This includes providing access to gated areas, ensuring the vehicle is unlocked if needed, and making keys available when required.

If the vehicle is inaccessible at the scheduled time, the appointment may be considered a no-show.

Subscription-Specific Considerations

For monthly subscription services:

  • Each subscription includes one service per month.

  • Unused services do not roll over.

  • Missed or late-canceled appointments may result in forfeiture of that month’s service.

  • Subscriptions may be canceled at any time prior to the next billing date to avoid future charges.
